FSG Poetry Month

Our favorite time is here again—happy National Poetry Month! We’ll be celebrating with thirty days of exclusive features, from essays to videos to poetry excerpts, honoring the great poets who have shaped and challenged our view of the world. In the words of T. S. Eliot: “It is a test [that] genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood.”

This year we are bringing back one of our favorite Poetry Month traditions, the FSG Poetry Hotline. Each day, you can call 949-DIAL-FSG (949-342-5374) to hear our President, Publisher, and resident poet Jonathan Galassi recite a favorite poem. There will be a different poem each weekday, so keep calling!

And don’t forget to visit FSG’s Work in Progress often for the latest conversations, poems, and original pieces to brighten your April.
